I was presented the rare opportunity: to create and establish a brand from (almost) the ground up. When I began in 2005 with Gale Mayron, the owner, creator and visionary of Jao, she had three products and an obscure Arabic style logo.

More than 10 years later, Jao is an internationally renowned brand of natural, multi-use products. Jao Brand has been recognized around the world for not only the quality of the products but for the packaging and brand as well.  Goe Oil was included in the December 2013 show "Divine Details" at the American Institute of Graphic Arts National Design Center in NYC.

Having created individual identities for each of the products including logos, packaging and marketing materials, I am now well versed in the legal requirements for beauty packaging for both US and EU and have designed versions in multiple languages. 

I designed and built online shopping systems for both Jao’s retail and wholesale customers. Both sites are built in Shopify. The sites have evolved to keep current with both responsive technology and trending design styles. They each incorporate multiple apps and customizations and are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible within the system’s parameters.
